Included is the phone and the charging station. The charging station comes with a power supply unit with a matching 2-pin mains plug. The power supply unit is a hummer that covers 3 connection holes on a plug strip, unless you attach it to the end where it then protrudes over the plug strip. You do not need a telephone connection here as the connection to the base station is wireless.
However, you are not anywhere with the telephone alone. You need a separate base station for DECT devices, preferably one from the same supplier.
- the "Gigaset Box 100", as a standard base station for analogue connection (I have this one). You will need a normal telephone cable with a standard RJ11 connection,
- or the "Gigaset GO Box-100" for an Internet connection. Here you connect via a network cable. - My UPC modem only supports the analogue connection for the telephone.
The Gigaset Box 100 comes with a suitable power supply unit with a suitable 2-pin plug, but this time a slim version that is not obtrusive on the connector strip. You will also need the telephone connection cable. If I'm not mistaken, there was one included but with a German connector plug, which is of no use to us in Switzerland. So you have to get the cable yourself to connect to the modem. - The box has a long range and you can place it next to the modem or hang it on the wall.
The "Premium 100 HX" box contains: 1 telephone, 1 set of rechargeable batteries, 1 mains adapter + small items. You also need a base station to make calls.
The box for the "Gigaset Box 100" base station contains: 1 base station, 1 power supply unit, 1 telephone connection cable (for Germany, not usable in Switzerland) + small items.
Incidentally, I threw away my old Gigaset telephones because the batteries were worn out after 10-12 months; I hope that the new devices are better.
