What firmware version do the currently supplied units have? Is it version 13 or older, so that free alternative firmware can still be installed?

I ordered the mobile phone on 27.5.2020. It was delivered with an OS version 12.
The phone has wifi.
At first Whatsapp was not displayed in the store.
And update was also not possible.
You have to switch off the phone and restart it then version 17 was displayed for download.
As far as I know, Whatsapp is available with an OS version 16 or higher in the kaiOs Appstore.
Now Whatsapp is running.
