Question about Samsung S29e790c
What does "3,000 R curvature" mean? Does this indicate an arc radius of 3000mm (i.e. 3m)? Are these radii actually to be calculated on the screen width or the diagonal?
This designation refers to the curvature of a drawn circle. Thus, if one were to draw a circle with the factor 3000 R, one would arrive at a radius of 3 metres. So the smaller the amount R, the more curved the screen curvature would be. Most curved monitors currently have a degree of curvature of 3000 R.
