What are the manufacturers thinking with a product like this? With a cable length of 40 cm, the part just hangs down at the back of the tower because you can't reach it. The PC tower is under the table and the USB-C port is out of reach for plugging in and unplugging peripheral devices. This product is an absolutely thoughtless dullness. The part is also supposed to function as a docking station. How can it, if the shitty part can only be reached from under the table? Another lesson learned.
I understand your frustration, but I think that this hub is intended for notebooks/tablets 😅 the cables there are always relatively short...
Probably Sandberg USB 3.0 Hub (USB A) or Icy Box IB-AC6110 (USB B) would be more suitable for you :-)
With the Sandberg you have 70cm cable... it's not really much.
Alternatively, you could use a USB extension cable :-) Or it is interchangeable like with the Icy Box.
