What about the pin assignment? Is it possible to install the 8th generation? I would like to avoid the problems with the software solution with the processor. Which Prozi do you recommend if you want to attach 8 x AMD RX380 for mining?

Helpful answer

the specs don't say anything about 8th generation being supported, so I guess it's not supported?

The complicated algorithm used to create them ensures that a maximum of 21 million of these virtual coins can be produced. "However, this quantity will only be reached around the year 2130",

Should work with LGA 1151. CPU is not that important. Take something cheap. It will take a while until you have gemined back an i7... Just put a Pentium or Celeron on it.
