Question about Canon Rc-6

With the EOS 500D, the remote release works perfectly.

I bought this product for a 70D and 80D. This remote release only works if you hold it practically in front of the camera. I bought the Hähnel Captur radio remote release for Canon, this works up to approx. 80 metres. The 550D is also listed under "Suitable model". Have a look at it, Art-Nr 6046470

I have a 650 and a 750. I bought it for the 750. I haven't tried it on the 650 yet.

There is an entry in the instruction manual on page 204. According to this, the appropriate remote control is the RC-6!
