WARNING: Freesync/AdaptiveSync monitors are both unsuitable for G-Sync, With the new update from Nvidia, G-Sync can be activated with Freesync/AdaptiveSync monitors, but it runs very impaired in many levels...Also in the Nvidia Control Panel it says that the monitor is unsuitable for G-Sync, even if it has been recognised. This will be the case with every Freesync/AdaptiveSync monitor. If you want G-Sync in its full capacity, you have to get a pure G-Sync certified monitor. Rely on this information.
Thanks for the info!
Anyone who dislikes my comment should please submit an argument. test it yourself, connect an AMD monitor with Geforce and go to the Nvidia Control panel. Under G-Sync it then says that the monitor is unsuitable for G-Sync. Nvidia has made G-Sync possible for AMD monitors so that someone who has an AMD monitor but has switched to Geforce graphics cards does not have to buy a completely new monitor. So it's still better than nothing, although the original G-Sync monitors are of course still much better.
