Question about Sony FE 50mm f/1.8
Two minor questions; Does the lens fit on the A7 IV? And is this lens practical and good value for money for videography? I just want to film a video in a slightly darker environment and don't want to spend too much money on it...

The lens fits on the camera, but is not suitable for videos due to the slow and above all very noisy autofocus. The FE 35/1.8 would be much better suited.
The autofocus is very sluggish in low light (twilight). It also starts to pump. But if you shoot still scenes then it can work.
Because the image quality and the aperture of f/1.8 make it unbeatable.
