To what extent does the Gigabit Ethernet port effectively achieve realistic speeds (<125 MB/s) over time? I've read over and over again that USB-C adapters are not effectively that fast, including older Satechi adapters...

I have been working with the port for 2 months. I stream film data from ext. HDs to DaVinciResolve and do colour corrections in real time. I haven't noticed any drop in performance so far. I am very satisfied.
