This motherboard has an RGB fan header. Is it possible to connect an RGB light strip there instead of the CPU lighting, which can be controlled with the AURA software from Asus?

This would be possible in any case!
Just a question, what kind of lighting is that for the CPU? Did you mean the CPU cooler, which has a light?
