There is discussion in certain forums that a MacBook Pro does not charge via USB-C when it is connected. Therefore the question: Has anyone tested whether you can transfer the image from a MacBook Pro via USB-C and charge the device at the same time? And if so, what is the charging speed. Merci!
I received the monitor from Digitec today and am now using it with a 2019 Macbook Pro i7.
The MacBook is connected to the monitor via USB-C only.
The resolution is 3840 x 2160 @ 60Hz and the MacBook is simultaneously supplied with 90W via the USB-C cable from the monitor.
The battery has now been at 100% for 5 hours under full load, so no problems with the power supply.
USB-C from this screen can charge the device at the same time. But you have to switch on this function in the settings. I don't know the charging speed. I do not have a Macbook.
