Question about Logitech G Saitek Pro Flight Throttle Quadrant

there is an adapter cable that connects the old round connector to USB - the new throttle is not recognised via USB

We have connected the old and the new one to the PC at the same time, you can configure it via X-Plane.
At first it didn't work either but you have to plug in a controller in X-Plane and then the second device, now everything works.
I also had a lot of trouble with the multi-panels (UBS, Poweroff etc. must be activated and then download all plug-ins from Saitek, then it works, but not exactly plug and play!
