Question about Delock HDMI Audio 5.1 Extractor, 4K, 60Hz

The stereo jack output does not work for me with the NES Classic Mini (Nintendo game console). It works on the PC (Intel NUC) and on the Swisscom box. I have still tried the Toslink, as I don't have a cable and suitable device. Has anyone had success with the NES or SNES Classic Mini?
