Question about Samsung Portable SSD T3
The Samsunt T3 has a USB 3.1 cable. My laptop still has a 2.0 interface. Is that compatible?
Yes, this works without any problems. However, you will only achieve a transfer rate of 60MB/s at most (USB 2.0 standard).

In general, USB 3 devices are compatible with USB 2 interfaces. You simply do not benefit from the faster transfer rate.
