The refresh rate is only 30 hz. How to tune that to 60hz? I didn't find any option to change that.

You have to use a cable/output that’s compatible with 60 Hz. For example in the 2015 MacBook Pro, the HDMI output can’t drive 60 Hz, but if you use a DisplayPort output/cable it works fine.
