As we do not have an effective user experience, we have forwarded your question to the Community so that it may be answered by another customer. This product comes with a 24-month warranty in any case. Whether the additional warranty is worthwhile depends primarily on the usage profile. It may make sense for a student device if the product is transported and used intensively on a daily basis. From a purely technical point of view, however, it is not absolutely necessary if the 2 years are sufficient for you.
