The new Galaxy A40 often, at irregular intervals, displays the message: "No SIM card inserted", although the SIM is inserted and has been recognised by the device. Then the SIM pin has to be entered again and again for the SIM to work again. I then tried the second SIM slot, it worked fine for about 1 day, then the same problems again. I thought it was the SIM card, but the SIM works fine in another device. Does anyone have a solution? Thank you.
I have not had any problems of this kind until now. I have had the A40 for 6 months. I also suspect a defect in the device.

I think there is a defect in the device. I have never experienced this problem until now.
