Question about Samsung U32R591CWR
The monitor does not wake up after sleep mode. You have to switch the monitor on and off again. We have bought 3 monitors of this model and all have the same problem. The PC wakes up, but the monitor remains dark. Then switch the monitor off and on again to get the picture to appear. Is there a fix for this? Is this a bug? I used to have a Samsung monitor with the same problem and then had to replace the mainboard.

It's exactly the same for me. When the monitor goes into sleep mode, it no longer becomes active before I press the power button once. This is not really a problem for me, but what bothers me more is that the monitor cannot be switched off completely, but remains on standby even after being switched off. That's why I plugged it into a power strip, which I can use to cut the power. This is actually an anachronism in this day and age.

It works perfectly for me. It's a bit sluggish but it comes up. Most of the time I don't shut down the laptop, then I move the mouse and after 30 seconds it's there.
