Question about Panasonic KX-TGJ322GB
The instructions state: "Do not place a handset with the headset jack cover open on the base station". 1. does this mean that a handset with a headset plugged in cannot be operated (receive calls or make calls) when it is in the base station? 2) To connect my headset I need an adapter plug (2.5 jack to 3.5 jack). They are quite clunky. Could the open cover of the headset jack be in the way?

I will answer the questions myself:
- The connection socket on the phone is 2.5.
- A headset can remain plugged in when the handset is in the base or in the power pack (for 2nd handset). You can only make calls when the handset is not powered, i.e. it is outside the base or the power supply unit.
