The hard disk in this unit is a Seagate Barracude 4TB (the only HDD available in this size). - LaCie Rugged USB-C (4TB) = 167.- - Seagate Barracude 4TB = 177.- So I can also order this and remove the hard disk is cheaper?????? Am I in the wrong place? Somehow I don't quite understand....

Hi,
Yes, you can generally do this, but you will lose your warranty. - By the way, the HDD inside has a normal SATA connection and works normally. They have also been removed ;-)
