The device has only one USB-C and one mini-HDMI port. If you only use the mini-HDMI port, the touch function is not available. I want to connect my smartphone/tablet via USB-C and operate both devices permanently. My problem or rather my question is now: Where do the devices then draw the power from (when the batteries of both devices are slowly empty)? It would be ideal if the power adapter supplied could supply the screen with power during operation AND the mobile phone/tablet could be connected at the same time. Is this possible? Or would there be USB-C adapters that would make this possible (a sort of 1 to 2 USB-C plug, where one plug is the power source and the other the data source)?
The monitor is an absolute bad buy. That's exactly what I wanted. The developers did NOT do their job. There was also no hub that could do it. The monitor then sat in the corner for a long time. I have now disposed of it as new.
It is not possible to connect the screen to a mobile phone via USB-C and supply the screen with power at the same time, as a mobile phone does not supply enough power. However, if you connect the screen to a laptop via USB-C, you can transfer the image and charge the screen at the same time.
