I bought the product and can tell you that no additional ear pads are included. However, there are different mod kits from Astro (e.g. https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/logitech-astro-a40tr-mod-kit-blue-ww-over-ear-black-blue-kopfhoerer-10144676). As far as I know, these are then closed. But so far I play with the open system and hear steps and details very precisely (play MW: Warzone) - you can also try it out without the mod kit first and then get these in addition if the ambient noise is so loud that you need the closed pads.
