The description says that the monitor has a USB hub. Why does it say in the specifications under connections that it only has Hdmi and DisplayPort? Am I misunderstanding something?

There are 2 USB ports available.

For quality reasons and for optimal speed for image transmission, only HDMI and DP actually make sense.
