The competition offers them for 420 without cyber Monday... Why do these fooling sales still work? Everyone knows about top prices. I thought Digitec didn't do that, but it's no better than anyone else.

Well, it's not really a "screwing sale", because Intel really had problems with the availability and the prices on the 8th Gen Desktop CPUS have risen a lot - before, this CPU was really available for 500 upwards. But to buy this in almost 2019 for more than 350 francs, I find complete madness. But to each his own :) And I am anyway disappointed by Black Friday and even more by Cyber Monday on Digitec. Only Macbook Pro 2018 and even that was directly the most expensive you can get for 4400.- without promotion. Btw... not even the iPad in the picture was on display.

Weis was a while ago. But think about it, Digitec sells a lot more CPUs than other companies. When Digitec runs out of stock, they have to buy at the new price. Another company could still have CPUs at the old price and then sell them only slightly cheaper than Digitec. Who then has the jerk-off price? Honestly, shop where you want but remember it is very difficult to judge from the outside.
