Question about Samsung Quick charger EP-TA800XB

The cable does not work with the older S10 generation, it is not recognised. No problem with the new generations from S20 onwards.

Hi, don't know my way around but I plug in both my Samsung Galaxy s10 Note plus and my s9 Note plus and earbuds. Just anything that has the same connector.
It works. However, I don't know how fast it should go or exactly how long it really takes. I've never paid attention to it.
