Question about AMD Ryzen 9 3900X

According to various sources, the cooler is just under 100mm high, but I would add a few cm more for the airflow. I would go for at least 15cm. That shouldn't be a problem for normal midi cases.

Hi, I'm running mine with a Corsair water cooling system and only got round to taking the "original" cooler out of the box today and measuring it. The height of the pure cooling rate is 92mm. The fan housing is a 100x100mm square and the heat pipes protrude on two sides over a total width of 124mm. There are adapter cables for mainboards with LED control. I also think that a height of 150mm is sufficient for the case consideration, provided that no additional fans are to be installed on the side flap, which would then still have to be included and there should be another 100mm of space up to the side cover, but completely sufficient for good air circulation.
