Switzerland is not listed under region to select? I have now selected Germany to put the phone into operation, will there be an update later?

The problem is/was deposited, there are some people who have already complained. See http://en.miui.com/search.php

Anyway: I was able to configure the correct region (CH) later in the settings. There was also an OTA update after the installation. Maybe it was fixed there.

And "China phone"... That's clear... But did you see the price?

It's a China phone... and an import. Doubt it that a CH update will come:
"Xiaomi Product Info.
The device runs the Global ROM - The product is intended for the global market. Language support in DE/FR/IT/EN is given."
