Super device, bought it new. Unfortunately, I cannot update EMUI 9.1 to 12.0. The message is displayed that the phone is already up to date. Does anyone have an attachment? Thank you in advance for your valuable tips.

The phone is very old and was launched in March 2019. In general, if you buy a new product, it should be released in the same year if possible, because smartphones in particular need regular security updates. I wouldn't want to use a 4-year-old phone for online banking. Since this phone is already very old, it could very well be that no new firmware is offered or that you have to update the phone with the help of instructions from the community, often with tedious tinkering, with the risk of destroying the phone. My recommendation is to return the phone and buy something new that will receive updates for years to come.
In the price range of approx. 400+ francs and in the size of approx. 6.28 inches, there would be this phone, for example, which would also be 2 to 3 times as fast and have twice the memory.
