So the system is not new LIFX has had this system for a long time and I have 2 of the lamps and they still work. Well, the price was a lot higher then than now.

Lifx is much more costly then Xiaomi Yeelight. The bulb from Xiaomi is quite good especially with flow feature and move with music feature.
