I know you can't help the stupid marketing ideas of the USB Implementers Forum, but it would make sense to make it clear when specifying USB 3.1, if the device is still only capable of "Gen 1" (i.e. the speed of what used to be known as USB 3.0).

Next thing you know, the sticks will be sold as USB 3.2 Gen 1. Same product, new packaging :-)
