Samsung Viewfinity S8 - S80UD 37 inch: Does the USB-C port also have "DP Alt Mode"? Is it an additional video input?

I use HDMI and Display-Port as video inputs. I have no direct experience with USB-C. However, in addition to HDMI and DP, USB-C also appears in the on-screen menu when I select the video input. So it could well be that USB-C works as a video input.
