Received the docking station on Saturday and wired it up as a temporary replacement for my damaged main computer.
My Thinkpad X1 (2019) works fine with 3x4K external screens.
That's the maximum it can manage.
I could get the laptop 4K screen to work, but it would then only be able to reproduce one of the other screens. That is a limitation of this laptop, not the docking station.
I could also connect all the USB hubs of the main computer and have the external keyboard & mouse (instead of internal Bluetooth), a RODE microphone, a H60+ camera interface, a stream deck and the interface to an external 5.1 sound system and of course a 1GB network cable.
All of these data streams go conveniently via the USB-C cable, which also supplies the laptop with sufficient power.
Really impressive, I had never used USB-C so much before.
I can fully recommend the docking station.
