Quick question: does anyone else have the problem that the pump makes such a bad noise? It's not incredibly loud, but you can still hear it well...
Yes, mine is loud too. Unfortunately I haven't found out how to turn it down or how to adjust it. So I am open to tips.
Counter question: What about the mounting position of the heat sink?
For the quietest and most efficient operation, it must be "top mounted", i.e. at the top of the housing and the hoses down to the pump.
Generally speaking, the radiator must always be the highest point in the water circuit, because that is where the air collects. If the pump is higher than the cooler, the air collects there - loud noises occur and the cooling capacity is zero.
