question; does this acu also work for the Block Rocker IPA 56 and can you replace it yourself?

If it is indeed a Block Rocker IPA56, then yes. Because there are other models -> IPA 56B/IPA 56C/IPA56C2/IPA56D. This is a 12V 5AH battery. You can check this in your model to see if it matches. Dimensions: 90mm x 100mm x 70mm (W x H x D).
