On the recommendation of a newspaper, I ordered theReiner IWV/MFV converter for my dial telephone (fern-green model, I think 80s). It does not work with our new Voip router system.  Does the Pure IWV to DTMF/Voip converter work?

Does the confirmation tone come in the handset after dialling a number?  (No or not always)
When was the last time the dial telephone was in use? (a long time ago)
If the two answers in brackets are correct, I recommend cleaning the interrupter contact of the dial.
