Question about Apple iPad 2022 (10. Gen) inkl. Poweradapter

On my iPad 10th gen (2022), the sound only comes out of the bottom two speakers (landscape format). Nothing seems to come out of the top two speakers. Is this normal?

This is normal. This model only has two speakers, as described in landscape format "bottom", see description:

Only the iPad Pro has four speakers. On the iPad (2022), the upper openings/perforated grilles are purely decorative.
