I have tested the i9 - 12900 K (DDR 5 / 5200 Mhz) extensively and it is possible for me to draw various comparisons in my environment, as I primarily deal with gaming hardware ... At this point I would only like to briefly discuss the pure processor performance:

Intel i9 - 12900 K : Single Core = 1957 / Multi Core = 26360 (Win 11 pro) Win 10 delivers slightly lower values Ca 3 - 7 %.
Ryzen 9 - 5950 X : Single Core = 1603 / Multi Core = 25421 (Win 10 pro)
Intel i9 - 11900 K : Single Core = 1685 / Multi Core = 15267 (Win 10 pro)
Intel i9 - 10900 K : Single Core = 1323 / Multi Core = 15971 ( Win 10 pro)

Cinebench R20 :

Intel i9 - 12900 K : Single Core = 754 / Multi Core = 10170 (Win 11 pro)
Ryzen 9 - 5950 X : Single Core = 622 / Multi Core = 9888 (Win 10 pro)
Intel i9 - 11900 K : Single Core = 674 / Multi Core = 5985 (Win 10 pro)

I have an Alphacool Eisbaer Aurora 420 AIO for cooling ... In the Aida 64 extreme stress test, individual cores alternately reach over 95 degrees I get the message that this results in 7% CPU throttling ... I must say that this cooling is considered "compatible" for socket 1700, but with such values I am not so sure ... 
I can say that the processor is successful and really very fast, but it gets quite hot ... In a game, the CPU is never put under as much stress as in this stress test, that's clear in any case, so it doesn't tend to get that hot in gaming.
Do any of you have better experiences with other coolers for the same CPU?
