My wife is always stealing my pods, so I want to give her my own, a call now and then, but more for sports, better Airpods 3rd Gen or Airpods Pro 1st Gen? ANC is certainly secondary for her, more important is the hold in the ear I would say.

The Airpods 3.Gen hold up surprisingly well. They are my constant companion during a workout. I was a bit sceptical at first whether they would really last. They do.
