Question about Dell D3100

have connected an acer monitor. this works without any problems. there are 2 hdmi ports.... so 2 screens should not be a problem. everything without guarantee...

hi, so i don't know about these two monitors. the problem with the dell docking station is the laptob (a dell) has to be open all the time otherwise it shuts down and i can't work with the laptop closed. i usually have a lenovo/thinkpad laptop and a thinkpad/onelink docking station which also has a button to use the closed laptop as a pc. beware not all docking stations have two outputs for monitors, which you need the onelink version and not the ultra from thinkpad has. would suggest to use the docking station from the same manufacturer as the laptop.

Hello, in principle the docking has several connections for monitors - this is independent of the manufacturer. If you have two +/- 24" monitors - I see no problem (resolution). If you have two 34" monitors with a large resolution, you may not have all of them available.
