My question:
I own a pc with the following components:
Ryzen 7 2700x
Msi b450 max
Gskill aegis 16gb 3000mhz
And a gtx 1070fe
I am in teaching and actually only play games at 144fps because I have a 144hz monitor, the games I play are not very demanding so fortnite .... csgo and gta5... but my problem is that e.g. with fortnite my gpu just gets hot at rather low settings at 144fps over 70 degrees (i am aware that this is not bad) and is also very loud... this is known from the founders editions. Now I wanted to ask if it is worth to buy a new card and if so which one?
It sounds stupid if I would get a less powerful card.... but actually i don't need much... sure in full hd at espirts titelk 144fps constant and nothing more... I also want a very quiet card. My ideas would be a gtx 1660ti (unfortunately only 6gb vram) or then just a rtx 2060 super (because 8gb vram) or for another 100 more the 2070 super.
It is important to me that it is quiet and cool :)

yes, to get 144 fps in full HD, a gtx 1660ti is sufficient. This card is best suited for full HD. If you want to be a bit more future-proof, you can get the rtx 2060 Super, which is comparable to the rtx 2070. A 2070 Super would almost be a bit overkill for fullhd only. What is your budget? Amd also has good cards
