My question is: Sigma 35mm,f/1.4 DG HSM Art Canon EF says focal length 35- 52.5 mm. On the Sigma page it says 35mm, which is correct now. What should I buy Sigma 35mm1.4 or Tamron 35mm1.8 . I would be happy if you could answer me.
35mm on a full-frame camera and 52mm on an APS-C camera with a smaller sensor.
I agree with both answers.
Sigma is certainly the higher quality lens.
Depending on the sensor type of your camera, you have a 35mm (full frame) or a 52.5 mm lens.
Hello Roland
In my opinion it is one of the best 35mm lenses on the market for this price. It is super sharp, good contrast and high quality workmanship. Unfortunately it comes with an extra weight, but that's not a problem. I always had it with me when travelling. I would definitely prefer this lens to the Tamron.
I hope I have helped you.
