My laptop/docking only has a DVI connection. Will this monitor work with e.g. this cable (https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/assmann-electronic-displayport-dvi-2m-video-kabel-10170899) on the DVI output?

I am not 100% sure... but I doubt that a 4k signal can be transmitted via DVI, but max. Full HD.
and if the docking station doesn't have more modern connections like DisplayPort, mini DisplayPort or HDMI, then I also doubt that your laptop can produce a 4k signal with the necessary power...
