My laptop can be charged via the USB-C ports. Will it then charge via the uplink to the docking station?

I can confirm this. Unfortunately, my laptop does not charge through the docking station.

I don't think so ... the thing comes with a 20V/2.25A power supply ... that's just 45W, which it has to supply itself with ... the rest is probably not enough to run a laptop? I didn't find anything in the manual.
