Question about Intel Nuc7i3bnk
My experience with my 5gen i7 NUC is that the fan can get quite loud. Under basic load such as surfing and office work, it is nice and quiet, but under full load, a penetrating noise starts. Although you can adjust the strategy, it results in either full performance with fan casing or reduced performance with less casing when it gets too hot. Does it also get annoyingly loud with this i3 NUC?
An i3 even from the 7Gen has even less power than an i7 from the 5Gen, so you will see the same reactions under full load.
Unscrew the case (if possible) and clean the fan. This helps immensely with some dusty fans.
