First of all: If the employer explicitly requires wired keyboards - I assume for security reasons - then devices that can also be used wirelessly should be ruled out per se.
I tested my MX Keys Combo Set "Keyboard/Mouse" again and also did some research on the Internet.
No, the Logitech setting does NOT transmit data signals via the cable.
But, it is possible to charge the keyboard via the USB-C to USB-A cable and work simultaneously via Bolt Dongle.
(But that was not the question)
I was able to solve a very similar problem for the Swiss Federal Administration a year ago.
We might have to talk about it outside this Community.
For us, security, manageability, sustainability, battery life, weight and a procurement basis were important.
The solution was the setting below.
And: Both parts can be charged and operated at the same time with the supplied micro USB cable, WITHOUT a dongle.
