Question about Lowepro Flipside Trek BP 450AW

My camera/objective combination is 31 cm long. Is the lower, actual camera compartment so high that I can pack the camera and lens without having to dismantle it? Unfortunately, this doesn't fit my current (350 AW) and so I always have to pack camera and lens separately.

Height camera compartment 30-32cm.

I also measured it: the 31 cm fit exactly, there's even a 1 cm reserve at the top, but it's rather tight at the bottom, but the intermediate bottom is soft and gives way a little without any problems if necessary.
