My 65 inch TV weighs around 50 kg with the stand and is therefore much too heavy for the Playbase. Question: Instead of placing the Playbase flat on the sideboard, can it also be mounted lengthways next to the sideboard? Does the sound go to the front or to the front and away from the top?

I can't imagine what "longitudinal" is supposed to look like right now, but the sound only goes away to the front. Is the Sonos Playbar possibly an alternative?
