Question about Transcend Card Reader F5 USB3.0
My PC does not read a memory card over 2 GB with the built-in slot (too old device). Is it possible to find a remedy with this card reader?

In principle, yes. However, I would like to know what kind of PC and what operating system you are using. It could also be the memory card itself. Have you tried out several?
It would be a Sony Vaio with Windows 10. The older model of VPC-CA1S1E notebook only with 160 GB HD. I could run all memory cards under 2 GB without any problem and when I bought a new one with 8 GB, the PC could not read the card. Many thanks for the quick help!
