MB has USB 3.1 front panel connector and USB 3.0 20-1 pin. The front panel connector in the case is USB 20-1 pin, as is the ICY Box connector. Is there an adapter for the 3.1 connection?

No, this is a slightly older model, if the output is already 3.0, no adapter is of any use.
