Question about Meta Quest 2 64 GB

Hello all. I would like to clarify the question a bit. I have a good gamer PC. However, I don't have a single USB-C port yet. Even the graphics card (nVidia Geforce gtx 1080 ti) doesn't have one. According to the description, you have to connect the Quest to the PC via a USB-C cable. Is an adapter to USB3 sufficient here or can I forget about it right away?
